Hey all,

I came down here to Los Angeles over spring break in Monaco's class. I met Brian and Matt at Blind Date, and wanted to thank you guys for letting us see where you work and helping us to realize that we can make it in LA. I moved here at the end of May and am working at Technicolor now with my Dad and some other family members. Right now I am doing projection and am having a good time working in the industry. I have recently made my 30 days to get into the union and am in the process of joining. I am realizing that being in a union has its good and bad points, but so far I think it will be for the better. I just wanted to let you all know that I am down here and am willing to help out where I can. At this point I am really interested in editing and am considering taking some Avid classes. I am living in the Burbank area now and if any of you are in the area we should meet up and hang out. My husband hasn't made it down here yet from Montana but is thinking about trying to get in at Dolby, do any of you know what they look for? Hope all is going well, and hope to hear from you.
